As it’s not long now until we hit the shores of Thailand and the Marriott Hotel: Merlin Beach has extended an offer to all our attending delegates during the week of our stay of an:
ALL Inclusive Food and Beverage Package.
You need to rest your mind and body, so what better way to unwind than to indulge in hotel’s all-inclusive package? Enjoy lunch, dinner, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks across the resort.
The attached booklet and Drinks List details the venues within the hotel where you can enjoy this package.
Cost:
Cost of 2,500 (Thai Baht) net per person, per day.
(As at December 1, 2019 $120 AUD per person per day).
Is It Worth It?
In our opinion, Yes. Like all packages, it is what you make of it. Review the details below, especially the drinks list to see whether it suits your style. The hotel is generally quite expensive for drinks and snacks outside the functioned events put on by Choices Flooring. Having recently experienced a day there in November, a basic lunch, an A la carte dinner and two beers and some coffees, cost approximately $180AUD for the day.
What is NOT included?
· Mini bar and in-room dining are excluded.
· A la carte items with a ^ sign on the menu incur a small surcharge (approx. $7AUD).
· Alcohol is ONLY served within the package from 11am – 11pm.
Anything ordered outside the drinks package attached will be charged at hotel charges. As for the A la carte dining options most restaurants within the resort only have one or two items on the menu that require a surcharge. Everything else is included, providing great value.
Is There Any Other Catch?
The only way they can offer this package is if it is done on a PER ROOM BASIS. Basically, that means that if there is TWO people per room allocation, both people must take the package.
If you have children, they are discounted under the following guidelines:
- 12 years and above are considered as Adults
- 6 – 11 years old is half price
- 1 – 5 years old is free of charge if the parent purchases the All-Inclusive Package
Also, you will NOT be able stop and start the package as you like, regardless of the day’s activities (Choices Flooring Events).
